Website Accessibility

Making your website accessible to your viewers can be tricky. According to W3.org, “Accessibility is essential for developers and organizations that want to create high quality websites and web tools, and not exclude people from using their products and services.

I agree with this statement. Accessibility is a basic human right. Here are a few steps I will include in my website to address this.

  1. Alternative Text for Images. A description of photos will help the blind that can not see a photo.
  2. Transcripts for audio. A transcript of a video will help the deaf understand what is being said.
