Email Filters and Email Etiquette September 26th

For this week’s module, we had to create an email filter. Before this module, I had no idea email filter’s even existed. For my filter, I chose to filter out all of my emails from Becky Counselmen. She sends scholarship and internship information. I thought having this in another folder would be helpful for me to access! The process of creating a filter was quite simple. There are few steps. I think having this filter will help me going forward because I won’t lose great opportunities in the jumble of the hundreds of emails I receive a day. Email to professor:

Good afternoon, Dr. Bishop. My name is Maddie Dozier. I am in your Digital Writing and Production course at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday. I am emailing you today to inform you that I will have to leave lab early next week. I understand that it is my responsibility to complete the required coursework and I will have it completed before our next class. Thank you in advance for understanding. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to respond to this email. Best, Maddie Dozier
